Asia or Europe news) Also, we can read articles of new products directly (especially, Apple and Samsung). And, additionally, we can watch many video such as news. So I think, this website's purpose is informative.
3) evaluative- New Yourk times Editorials : In here, we can read many editorials about politics and incident such as a new type of swindling etc. Also, there are writings in positive or negative light. Because of this, I think, this site is evaluative.
4) expressive-twitter, facebook..: I think, the multimedia tools such as twitter, blog which we studied in Mew are appropriated for purpose of expressive. Because, main function of these sites are 'expressing our emotion and saying what I'm doing now'. Also, because we can write our feel about another person's writing, I think, the purpose of these sites is expressive.
5) persuasive-www.amazon.com: amazon is one of the biggest online shopping mall in the world. And the function of this site is advertising to sell products to visitant. In course of advertising, we will be persuaded and tempted. Also, by appropriate arrangement of advertisement, they can raise sales rate. Because of this, I think, the amazon's main activity of advertising is persuasive activity, so the purpose of this site is persuasive.
